Ceresit CT 16 primer facilitates the application of thin plaster layers and friction plaster in indoor and outdoor conditions. It is recommended for priming the reinforcement layer when insulating buildings using Ceresit Ceretherm systems (SILS) and for ordinary plaster. The primer can be used to cover chipboard and plasterboard, gypsum plaster, all types of concrete surfaces, and layers of paint strongly adhered to the substrate. Priming with CT 16 significantly reduces the absorbency of the surface, preventing too fast drying of the materials applied to the paint layer. The product covers well and makes the surface more even, thus preventing stains on painted acrylic, mineral and silicone plasters.
