Polüuretaanliimi Ceresit CT 84 kasutatakse vahtpolüstüreen- plaatide kinnitamiseks Ceresit Ceretherm-süsteemide (ETICS) abil ehitiste välisseinte soojustamisel. Ceresit CT 84 sobib vahtpolüstüreenplaatide kinnitamiseks nii uusehitiste puhul kui ka vanade hoonete soojustamisel. Polüuretaanliimi CT 84 kasutatakse ka ekstrudeeritud ja vahtpolüstüreeni ning mineraalvillplaatide kinnitamiseks erinevate materjalide külge. Liimi kasutatakse ka vahtpolüstüreenplaatide ja aknalaudade (pärast pinna rasvast puhastamist) liimimiseks, vahtpolüstüreenplaatide vaheliste vuukide täitmiseks, raamistiku puhul (liimilisandina) pinna küljest lahti tulnud vahtpolüstüreenplaatide kinnitamiseks olemasolevates soojusisolatsiooni¬süsteemides ning vahtpolüstüreenplaatide liimimiseks olemasolevale ETICS-süsteemile uue ETICS-süsteemi pealekandmisel.
