Ceresit CT 17 on ette nähtud nii hoonete sise- kui ka välispindade (seinad, põrandad, laed) kruntimiseks, kuhu hiljem kinnitatakse keraamilised plaadid, soojusisolatsiooni- või põrandakattematerjalid, valatakse tasanduskihid või mida tapeeditakse, pahteldatakse ning värvitakse.
