Vuugilindi kasutamine konstruktsioonis on vajalik õhu-, sooja- ja niiskusisolatsiooniks ning fassaadiplaatide vahele jäävate vuukide viimistlemiseks. Laia kasutusega PVC-vahtplastist elastne vuugilint on kaetud altpoolt hea nakkega akrüülliimiga ja pealtpool kaitsva, eemaldatava silikoonpaberiga. Vuugilint on hea liimuvusega ning veetihe materjal, mis on UV-kiirguse ja ilmastikukindel.

Vuugilint tuleb liimida kõikidele karkassi roovidele, et vältida liigse niiskuse kondenseerumist roovituse kohtadesse fassaadiplaadi pinnal. Vuugilindi kasutamisega hoitakse ära liigse niiskuse teke, mille tulemusena ei ladestu fassaadiplaatidele roovituse kohtades liigset tolmu.
